The notified draft technical regulation specifies the mandatory requirements of packaging, storage & labelling stated in the Gulf Standard document GSO "Canned Strawberries" under clauses 9, 10 & 11 respectively. They are illustrated as follows: 1. Canned Strawberries shall be packed in suitable and clean containers, tightly closed to protect and maintain its quality and safety; 2. The Containers shall be stored in well ventilated place and away from heat sources and pollution; 3. In addition to the requirements of the Gulf Standard for the Labelling of pre-packaged Foods, the following specific provisions apply and shall be Last Date for Comments: 10/27/2014 (Texts provided by the World Trade Organization.)

The notified draft technical regulation specifies the mandatory requirements of packaging, & labelling which are stated in the Gulf standard GSO "Fresh Tomatoes" under clauses 10 & 12 respectively. They are illustrated as follows: 1) The product must be packed in suitable containers to maintain product quality and safety, and with the following capacities: 2.5, 10, 15, 20, 25 kg; 2) In addition to the requirements of the Gulf Standard for Labelling of Pre-packaged Foods, the following provisions and shall be declared on the product label such as : (a) Name of product, (b) Grade quality, (c) Source Last Date for Comments: 10/27/2014 (Texts provided by the World Trade Organization.)

They are illustrated as follows: 1. The cans shall be coated from inside with varnish material suitable with medium or solution packaging; 2. The vacuum inside the cans shall not be less than 1000 mm mercury; 3. The content volume shall not be less than 90% from water capacity of the container; 4. Dried sweet basil shall be packed in clean and sound containers, made of a material suitable for food pack� aging and which does not affect the product but protects it from the ingress or loss of moisture and volatile matter; 2. This UAE Conformity Scheme aims to provide RFID labels that are registered in a central database for all approved tyres in the UAE. These RFID labels shall provide information of the tyre's compliance as well as its traceability to both seller and consumer. This regulation establishes the requirements of the RFID labels for tyres. The requirements set out in this regulation shall apply to the type of tyres specified in Annex A of the regulation.
