As first lady, she promoted education for the deaf and drew attention to the needs of the disabled. Mrs. Coolidge used her position to promote many groups, including leadership and community service activities for boys and girls. The reverse (tails) of this coin depicts three hands finger-spelling the letters USA in American Sign Language against the backdrop of the White House. This coin is available today!
