- To expand the items of quasi-drugs which are excluded from the restriction on use of tar colour (items such as insecticides, rodenticides, etc. that do not come in contact with the human body. - To exclude changes of insecticide and germicides (for the prevention of infectious diseases) irrelevant to their safety, efficacy from having to undergo examination for safety and efficacy. Performance and safety requirements for medical devices are revised with a view to harmonizing domestic regulations with international standards.
